Well, Visual F/X were very very smooth, but as Mr.Lucas has said: "V.F/X arent an excuse to make a movie, its the story that makes a great one."

So compared to the first, the story has a litlle less depth. Where's the morgue girl, why is the morgue guy still alive ?

They really tried to pack as much as possible into this sequel, but that missing extra half hour could have helped a lot to make the movie more enjoyable and even more believable.

But, you gotta hand it to them.

The writters were extremely clever as in the prequel. The way they implement alien activity in everday life is very realistic. I mean it makes you wonder if...

Nice, very nice Mr.Spielperg has done it once more, that is to really indulge us into his story and well really entertain, and in this case even think.
